The team behind Evanston’s popular Neapolitan-style pizza spot, Union Pizzeria, now brings their culinary talent to downtown Chicago by introducing Union Squared at Revival Food Hall. Union’s partners Heather Behm, Steve Schwartz, Craig Golden and Chef/Partner Vince DiBattista, swap their wood-fired oven for a Blodgett deck oven at Revival Food Hall to create Detroit-style pizzas—square, red-sauce topped pies with thick, yet light, crispy crusts. The menu features five pizza options daily, offered by the slice or by the pan, along with a rotating daily special. A fresh selection of made-to-order salads are also available in two sizes. Beverage offerings include huge mugs of local draught beers, and Detroit-made "Faygo" Soda to complement that classic Detroit-style pizza.
Union Squared at Revival
While Union Pizza made its name with Neapolitan-style pizza, Union Squared's focus at Revival is on Detroit-style pizza; a square, red-sauce topped pie with a thicker, crispy and airy crust. The menu features five pizza options daily, offered by the slice or by the pan: Pepperoni, Quattro Formaggi, Sausage & Sweet Pepper, and Spinach & Mushroom, along with a rotating daily special. A fresh selection of made-to-order salads are available as a small side, or as an entree item with the option of adding chicken. With an expanded menu that includes six additional, unique pies offered by the pan, Union Squared pies are the perfect option to grab-and-go to reheat at home, or to cater your next large meeting or event.
